Interpreting is my passion.
I have been working as a liaison and conference interpreter at home and abroad since 1997. Details of my career can be found on XING or on LinkedIn. In 2016, I became a member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) as a translator and interpreter for French and English. In 2020, I was generally sworn in as an interpreter and authorised as a translator before the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf. I thus undertake to translate spoken or written content correctly, completely and conscientiously from one language into the other.I began working in development cooperation in 2004 and have since translated documents, articles, and brochures relating to technical, economic, and socio-political matters. Give me a call or drop me a line!
In March 2017, I was certified as a ’culturally sensitive language specialist’ by bikup gGmbH. Public authorities, social, psychiatric and other public institutions or companies can book my services through the Language Mediator Pool NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia). We mediate – both linguistically and culturally - between helpers and those seeking help, especially in precarious or mentally challenging situations.
